Mary Lou Imgrund Hart 92, of Spring Lake, NJ, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark, NJ, on November 7, 1929, to Mary Mulvaney Imgrund and John S. Imgrund Sr. Mary Lou grew up in West Orange, NJ, where she met the love of her life, George E. Hart. They married in 1947 before moving to Livingston NJ and then to Morristown NJ where they raised their family of eight children. They summered in Sea Girt NJ, until moving year-round to their home on New York Blvd. After her husband's passing, she moved to Fairway Mews. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine's Church, Spring Lake, and a volunteer at the Missionary of Charities (Mother Tereasa) soup kitchen and accompanied her family every year to Stowe Vt. For the "Race for Kids" benefit for the Downeyside Adoption agency.

She enjoyed tennis, golf, travel, the beach, Opera and the theater, and she acted in many plays while in Morristown. She was an avid piano player, painter and gardener who loved music and a good party. She was a member of the Woman's Club and Holly Club of Sea Girt, and was the organizer of the Theatre Trips into NYC for many years. She was member of the Fairway Mews Golf Club and The Ladies 9 Holer's Golf Group. Mary Lou was an avid artist and hand painted baskets for many years with her husband George and they can still be seen in many homes in Spring Lake and Sea Girt.

Mary Lou was predeceased by her beloved husband George E. Hart of 47 years in 1994, and her loving companion of 24 years James M. Browne of Mantoloking NJ, her brothers John S. Imgrund Jr., William H. Imgrund and a daughter in law Tracy S. Hart. Surviving are her 8 children, Kevin M. Hart Sr. and his wife Joann of Hopewell NJ, George Brian Hart and his wife Elizabeth, of Brielle, NJ, Christopher J. Hart, of Greenbrook, NJ, Timothy W. Hart and his wife Kerry, of Little Silver, NJ, Mary Shaun Hart Amberg and her husband Robert of Fairfield CT, Sir Gregory J. Hart of Spring Lake NJ, Maura Hart Mastrorilli and her husband Patrick of Spring Lake, Megan Hart Cullum and her husband Thomas of Rumson NJ. She also leaves her two siblings, Jean Milone and her husband Robert of Severna Park MD, Robert Imgrund and his wife Carol, of Brielle NJ, sisters in law, Beverly Imgrund of Lakewood NJ, and Carmen Imgrund of Westfield, NJ.

She leaves 18 grandchildren, Kevin M. Hart Jr, Micaela Hart, George Hart, Chloe Hart, Christopher Hart, Missy Hart, Krissie Hart, Kylie Hart, Christopher Amberg and his partner Pamela Lizama, Courtney Amberg, Caroline Amberg, Patrick Mastrorilli, Bridget Mastrorilli, Colin Mastrorilli, Brendan Mastrorilli, Ryan Cullum, Catherine Cullum, Grace Cullum and one great grandchild Luna Marie Amberg. She's also survived by her loving caregivers Marie McClendon and Debra Beville who were her special angels.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 3-7 pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall.
