Gary Wayne Wilson, 70, a native of Ama, LA and a resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Grand Ridge Golf Club, 500 Willowdale Blvd., Luling, LA. 70070.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Patsye" L. Wilson; daughter, Brea Lamastus (Lewis); sons, Tyler Wilson (Jada) and Joseph Wilson (Brittany); step sons, Corey Faucheux (Kristen) and Donny Faucheux; mother, Gloria Matherne Wilson; brothers, Robert Glenn Wilson Jr. (Brenda) and Tracy Wilson (Debbie); sister, Bobbie Sue Mock (Richard); 7 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Lenny Wilson; and father, Robert Glenn Wilson, Sr.

Gary was a 1968 HHS State Champion. He enjoyed sports, motorcycle riding, crabbing and fishing. He loved spending time at family gatherings. His favorite saying was Go Cowboys! He retired from Union Carbide and Entergy.
