Ann Eda (Hay) Phillips, 91, of Delaware passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, November 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 22, 1930 in Clintwood, Virginia to the late Alfred and Nora (Senter) Hay and graduated from Haysi High School in Haysi, Virginia. On April 12, 1952, she married the love of her life WC Phillips.

An avid gardener, Ann enjoyed tending to her flowers and decorating her home. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A very fashionable woman, she was always "dressed to the nines".

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ralph Phillips of Reynoldsburg, Lisa Phillips of Delaware, Angela (Edward) Gelasi of Delavan, Wisconsin, Tina (Bill) Bickham of Delaware, and Christopher (Michelle) Phillips of Orient; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Clydette (George) Hetrick of Delaware and Jeanette Schoonover of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ann was also preceded in death by her loving husband WC, her grandson Jeremy, her daughter-in-law Lisa, her brothers Kenneth, Ransom and Ralph Hay and her sister Rosemary Parrish.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive at W. William Street, Delaware where funeral services celebrating her life will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Marlboro Cemetery.
