Debbie Johnson, 58, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2021 at her residence in Dunnellon, FL.
Debbie was born to Norman J. and Shirley A. Smith.
She obtained her degree in nursing and became a wonderful and compassionate caretaker to all who were in her care.
Debbie was married to Randall Johnson for 30 years. After many, many years in Indiana, Debbie and Randall made their home in sunny Florida in 2013. Debbie brought joy to all that came to know her. She loved gardening/flowers, country music and her beloved pets.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Randall, father, Norman J. Smith, and his wife, Gloria, sister, Anita K.(Lou)Cabrera, step-son's, Randy(Cris)Johnson and Rick(Judy) Johnson, step-brother, James McIver and several nieces and nephews.
Debbie was predeceased by her mother, Shirley A. Smith, grandparents, Charlie Norman and Eula Smith, Forrest and Alma Baute.
Debbie's desire was to be brought back to Indiana for burial. Viewing will be on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN. Funeral immediately folling.
Burial will be in Norristown Cemetery.
