David graduated from Ardmore High School and The University of Oklahoma. David had a long career as a landman in the oil and gas industry. He was Vice President of GoldKing Production Company, Brock Energy, and UMC Petroleum Corp. After retirement in 2006, he enjoyed his workshop, photography, fishing, boating, entertaining friends and family and watching Sooner football games. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Galveston, serving on the Vestry and as Junior Warden during the Hurricane Ike recovery efforts.
