Parents: Robert and Leona Smith

He spent most of his childhood in Kansas with his parents and five brothers. When Randy was in middle school his dad received a job transfer to Hugo, Colorado and the family eventually ended up setting up roots in Morgan County. He graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1975. After high school Randy worked as a mechanic at Clatworthy's and Wickham Tractor. He also worked at Graff Homes for a number of years. He was a hard worker eager to learn and wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. In his free time, you could find him at the local racetrack where he met the love of his life Drema Dibbens. Randy and Drema (Dibbens) were married April 19th, 1984.

His joys in life were his wife, his boys, spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, tinkering in the garage, but most of all his grandchildren. He always had a big smile on his face and would greet you with a big hug or hand shake and more than likely a smart aleck comment. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Always the handyman. If anyone was ever in a bind or couldn't fix something they would call Randy. At the time of his death, he was working part time for Slick Spot.

He is survived by his wife Drema of Fort Morgan; five sons, five brothers, 17 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by both of his parents; two sister-in-law's, Ann and Lori; and one granddaughter, Shelby.
