Barbara Regina Murphy, 90, of Sykesville, passed away on November 21, 2021.
Barbara was born September 7, 1931 in Baltimore, MD and was the daughter of the late Adam and Elizabeth (Haluch) Brzuchalski, and the loving wife of the late Thomas F. Murphy.
Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Deborah Fiori of Sykesville, MD, and Joan Patinella of Fallston, MD and her son-in-laws James Fiori and Ralph Patinella. She is also survived by her sister, Wanda Carlton. She was pre-deceased in death by six siblings.
Barbara was grandmother to five grandchildren: Kimberly (David) Abarbanel, Christine, Suzanne and Rachel Patinella; and the late James Fiori. She also has four great-grandchildren.
Barbara was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.
She loved traveling and visited many countries in Europe, including Poland, Ireland, England and France. She also traveled throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2021, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, Hampstead, MD. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, 10:30 am at the St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD. Father Michael Roach will be the Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Bartholomew Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.
