Lisa Jernigan Johnson, age 47 of Dunn, died Friday, November 19, 2021 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Lisa was born on February 27, 1974 in Harnett County the daughter of the late Jesse Dalton Jernigan, Sr. and Maxine Carol Coles Jernigan. Lisa was a great wife and mother, family was very always first. She was a loving sister to her siblings. She was known for being so kind hearted, always wanting to help others when they were in need. She was the glue that held the family together. She believed in practicing daily the commandment "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Lisa loved to play cards and was known to play a mean hand of cards. She also enjoyed board games and crossword puzzles. Her passion was trying new recipes and shared them with others on facebook. She shared over 661 recipes on facebook.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park.
She is survived by: Her Husband and soul mate of 26 years: Jimmy Johnson of the home. Daughters: Unita Renee Johnson of Roseboro, NC and Cynthia Johnson of Dunn, NC. Step-Son: Ryan Curtis of Clinton, NC and a Step-Grandson: Emilo Mateo Curtis. Sister: Brenda Dixon of Erwin, NC. Brothers: David Jernigan & (wife) Theresa of Mt. Airy, NC; Jesse Jernigan, Jr. & (wife) Pamela of Coats, NC and Rodney Jernigan of Coats, NC. Many Nieces and Nephews
