It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Lee McIntyre of El Reno, on Nov. 22, 2021.
She was 50 years old.
Shelly was born in Kansas City, Mo., where she graduated from Raymore-Peculiar High School. After having three children of her own, she married Mark McIntyre who made her family complete. After marriage she moved to El Reno with Mark where they raised their family together.
Shelly was very passionate about her work and her family. She worked at the local American Legion for several years before moving to work for the city of El Reno in the billing department. She took the most pride in her family and made sure to keep everyone connected even from a large distance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Eugene and Karen Marie Bixler of Blanchard, who she was incredibly close with and visited constantly until their passing.
Shelly was an absolute pillar of strength who was the unquestioned center of her immediate and extended family.
Her kindness was immeasurable and the hallmark of who she was along with her constant smile. The biggest joy she could receive would be in family and friends being together, no matter the occasion.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; her brothers, Jeffery Paul of Centerview, Mo., and Richard William of Cape Coral, Fla.; her children, Preston, Kandra, Jake, Maxwell, Robert, Kayla and Trevor of El Reno; and seven grandchildren.
