She was born June 26, 1943 in Ballinger, TX to Roger and Peggy (Holland) Campbell. She married Fred D. McCoy, January 24, 1969 in Lubbock. Carolyn was a virtuous woman of strong christian faith. She loved her family but her world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She always had a smile and loved watching old westerns. She took care of the bookkeeping for their family business.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred D. McCoy, November 18, 2014, a daughter, Tina Willeby, March 2, 2020, son, Roger Wayne Powers, August 12, 2017 and a brother, Joe T. Campbell.
She is survived by 2 sons, Fred McCoy and wife Stephanie of Lubbock and Bill McCoy and wife Shonda of Shallowater, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Lillian Timms of Moriarty, NM and Shirley McCoy of Chino Valley, AZ and a daughter-in-law, Sherri Powers.
