Joseph "Joe" R. Ross, 57, of North Fairfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 17, 2021 at the Laurels of New London. He was born on May 5, 1964 in Findlay, Ohio to the late James H. and Wilma (Simpson) Ross.
Joe truly enjoyed everyone, and was very much a part of the North Fairfield community. He was a lifetime paid Masonic member where he had served as guardian of the door, and was the tail chaser at the Lions Club of North Fairfield. Joe loved the movie "The Wizard of Oz" and would watch it repeatedly. He was involved with Christie Lane Industries all of his life and had played and coached basketball with Christie Lane.
Survivors include his brothers, John Ross of Kentucky and Jeff (Deborah Stills) Ross of Tipp City, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Erica and Steven Cowling and Spencer Ross and Daniell Iles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jim.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio from 1 p.m. until the time of the 2 p.m. memorial service. Burial will follow the service in North Fairfield Cemetery.
