Garcia, Raquel L. went home to finally rest on November 12th for her 81st birthday. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Eugenia, brothers Jose and Juan, sister-in-law Jackie, husband Juan, daughter Porfiria and grandson Alex. Raquel is survived by daughter Magdalena (Nathan), grandchildren Xavier, Anastasia and Amelia, brothers Ramon (Lois) and Roberto, sister-in-law Mary, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Raquel loved talking to everyone from her family and friends to the grocery store employees. She enjoyed singing and wanted to be a dancer when she grew up. She enjoyed watching British shows on PBS, so much so that it was surprising she never developed an accent. There was nothing she loved more than her family. Whether you called her Raquel, Rocky, Rachel, mommy or grandma you knew she would always be there. She was a very special lady and will be missed by many. Memorial will follow at a later date.
