Funeral services for Sylvia Faircloth Scott, age 95 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Paul Wilkes will officiate.

Mrs. Scott was born December 23, 1925, in Glenwood, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Myrtis Wynn Windham. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Osler K. Faircloth, and Lawrence Scott. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and loved her pets dearly. She had a great sense of humor and a sweet spirit about her. She was retired from J.P. Stevens and Company. She was a graduate of Lowery High School where she was the Salutatorian. She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church where she served for numerous years on the Nursing Home Ministry. She played in a bowling league up to her 80's. She was an avid gardener, cook, loved wordsearch puzzles, and loved to travel and take vacations. Mrs. Scott passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, at her residence surrounded by family.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the funeral home.
