RICHFIELD, UT-Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son, Craig Lott Ross, passed away December 12, 2007, in Salt Lake City. Craig was born in Richfield, Utah on July 16, 1946, at Sevier Valley Hospital to Elmo Grant and Naomi Lott Ross.

He married Vickie Lynn Conder, the love of his life, on June 20, 1964. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Together they have raised three wonderful children. He and his wife pursued a life-long dream and worked side-by-side building a successful life for themselves and their family. They were owners of Craig's Drive In, Richfield Sales and Leasing, Classic Chevrolet and current owners of R&R Frontier Village Restaurant. Craig was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many capacities, including Elder's Quorum President, Stake Athletic Director and Ward Activities Chairman. Craig loved his family dearly and devoted his life to their happiness. Craig's passion was the outdoors. He loved camping, hunting, fishing, riding his four-wheeler and Gold Wing. He also enjoyed spending countless hours at his cabin at Fish Lake, which he, his father-in-law and brother-in-law built with their own hands.

Craig has spent many years here in Richfield serving his fellow men as a volunteer. Craig was named most outstanding volunteer in Sevier County in 2006 and was a recipient of the Silver Bowl State Award. This recognition honors outstanding volunteers. He served as a volunteer firefighter for more than 27 years, 26 of which he was an officer and ten years as Fire Chief. He served nine years as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician and training officer. He also served ten years as a member of the Six County Advisory Council. Craig officiated in high school and city sports and was a little league coach of basketball and baseball for a good part of his life. Craig projected true leadership in his daily life and was a lot of fun to be around. Craig had a witty demeanor and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. He was a friend to all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vickie; children, Shelli (Deon) Curtis, Lisa (Dylan) Buchanan, Brett (Cher) Ross; twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one on the way; mother, Naomi Ross Taylor; mother-in-law, Marjorie Conder; brothers, Duane (Sandi) Ross, Mark (Diane) Ross, all of Richfield; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Elmo Grant Ross; sister, Sheral Ross; father-in-law, Ray Conder; granddaughter; Brittney K Ross; and step-father, Arvel Taylor.
