Patrice 27 and Artemise 28, appear on page 11 of the 1881 Canada Census in Sandwich West, begun on 4 April 1881. Their daughter Solomé ( also called Loma) Beneteau is born later in the month, on 30 April 1881, and Loma marries Denis Meloche on 26 June 1904.
The parish register at St. Joseph, shows Artemise Renaud was the 12th burial of the year, buried on 12 May 1881, at 32 years old, and shows father Baptiste Renaud and spouse Patrice Beneteau.
The following year, on 16 Oct. 1882, Patrice marries Virginie Bastien.
