Katharine Mary Neubert, 77, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, at Essex Nursing Center in Salem, after a short illness.
Katharine resided in Salem, Ohio. Born June 19, 1921 to the late Johann and Elizabeth (Fodor) Stefan, she attended Believers Christian Fellowship Church in Salem.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Winters of Atwater; son, Joseph Neubert of Austintown; and four grandchildren.
Katharine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Josef Neubert in 1992; son, Frank Neubert; and brothers, Frank and Joe Stefan.
Funeral services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek at 4 p.m. Sunday, with Pastor Dennis Witt officiating.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. (Gednets-Ruzck Funeral Home, 938-2526.).
