Joan was born to Russell and Audrea (nee-Heim) Keller on March 14, 1933 in St. Louis, MO.
She was united in marriage to Robert A. Allen on February 28, 1953 in St. Louis, MO. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage.
Mrs. Allen worked as a secretary at McDonnell Douglas Automation Division. She was a member of Wentzville United Methodist Church and previously College United Methodist Church, where she participated in the United Methodist Women and the Quilting groups.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Allen, her parents Russell Keller and Audrae Bowers and her sister Talma Jackson.
She is survived by her children; Kent Allen of Florissant, MO, Wayne Allen (Cheryl) of St. James, MO, Carol Kuchik (Rob) of Wentzville, MO, Craig Allen (Shelby) of Wentzville, MO and Mark Allen (Dana) of Rockwall, TX, her brother Ronald Keller of Dallas, TX, her sister, Shirley Morgan of St. Charles, MO, and eight grandchildren; Nathan Allen (Beth), Kyle Allen, Erin Knese (Scott), Kristin Schuble (Brandon), Craig Allen Jr., Melissa Allen, Emily Allen and Rebecca Allen, four great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends. She was loved by many and never had a unkind word to say to anyone. She will not be forgotten.
We will Celebrate the Life of Edna Joan Allen, Saturday, November 27, 2021, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at the Wentzville United Methodist Church, 725 North Wall St. Wentzville, MO. 63385. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM also at the church. After the service, light refreshments will be served. Private interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
