Carl James Barrett, 81, passed away December 14, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born April 8, 1926 in Magna, Utah to John James and Josephine Bauman Barrett. He married Marilyn Miller on April 27, 1950 in Salt Lake City. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an owner and operator of Utah Moving and Storage for many years.



Survived by his wife, Marilyn; brothers, Wilbur C. Thomas (Kay), St. George, UT; Howard C. Thomas, Canlon, GA; sister, Elsie Castle, York, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.




Graveside Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the American Fork City Cemetery, 600 North 100 East in American Fork.
