Jimmy "Moogie" Ray Wilkerson, 76 of Cookeville passed from this life on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at his home. Moogie was born Sunday, October 21, 1945 in Carbon Hill, Alabama to the late Walter Wilkerson and Willodean (Earley) Wilkerson.
Moogie was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and Papa.
He leaves behind daughters: Denise Musgrove and Tracy Dubravetz; grandchildren: Amanda (Jario) Esparza, Ashley (Henry) Hall, Samantha (Misty) Garrett, Meagan (Caleb) Wyatt, Chelsea (Josh) Roysden, and Gracie Wilkerson; great-grandchildren: Jax Dubravetz-Davis, Aly Davis, Kaden Wyatt, Hunter Page, Lincoln Roysden, Layla Wyatt, Koa' Esparza; siblings: Janice Mullins, Patrick (Billie) Wilkerson, Buddy (Pam) Hart.
In addition to his parents, Moogie was preceded in death by his wife: Judy Wilkerson; son: Little Moogie Jimbo Wilkerson; brothers: Gus Wilkerson and Gregg Wilkerson.
Funeral Service were held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Brown officiating. Interment followed in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
