Wanda Strickland Hardee 71, of Enfield died on Thursday October 7, 2021 at Vidant Hospital in Greenville.

She was the daughter of the late Washington Irvin Strickland and Nellie Gray Taylor Strickland Lynch of Darlington, NC. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Curtis Hardee, Jr.

Wanda was a graduate of Aurelian Springs High School and enjoyed going to Pungo with David fishing, loved listening to Elvis, George Straight and Daniel O'Donnell.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Hardee Campbell and her husband, Andrew of England, Rhonda Hardee Jenkins and her husband, Kyle of Enfield, her son, Curt Hardee and his wife April of Enfield; David Hunt and his loving family; her brother, Ronnie Hale and his wife Elanor of Halifax; five grandsons, Matthew and Thomas Campbell, Harrison and Aidan Hardee, Carson Jenkins, her granddaughter, Gray Jenkins and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Graveside Services will be held at the Hardee family Cemetery, 1247 Hardee Road Enfield, at 11 am on Tuesday October 12, 2021 with Rev. Craig Gaither officiating.
