Carol J. Pennington Annable, age 91, of McClure, Illinois passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. at her family residence.

Carol was born December 20, 1929, in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, daughter to the late Michel and Mathilda (Roetger) Hacken.

She was of the Pentecostal faith. Carol was a former Bell Telephone operator in Wisconsin; and had cleaned houses.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lige H. "Bud" Pennington on November 14, 1995; her second husband, Doyle Annable; and four grandchildren, Jennifer, Marcy, Mark Albert, Jr. and Lena Dawn.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be held in Lindsey Cemetery in McClure, Illinois. Pastor Aaron Boyd will officiate.
