Derrick Dewayne Davis, 44, of Calhoun, Georgia died Thursday, November 18, 2021. He was born on April 22, 1977, in Calhoun, Georgia, son of Tommy Davis and Sheila Harris Ogletree. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Harris Ogletree.

Derrick was employed by Fred's and Papa Johns in customer service.

He is survived by his life partner and best friend, Stephanie McGill; brother, Tim Harris; uncle, Ricky Harris; cousins, Layla Harris Towers and Racey Harris; close friends, Travis Long, Landon Walker, Brian Sessions, Devin Hall, and Edith Hall.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

A memorial service will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Zack Townsend officiating.
