James is survived by his only child, Ryan James Frank and granddaughter Adelyn Grace Ann Frank. His parents John W. Frank and Sharon Patrick. Sister Lindsey (Ben) Whitaker and brother John J. Frank (Liz); 2 nieces and a nephew. James was preceded in death by his brother, Brant Yarbrough; maternal and paternal grandparents.
It was James's wishes to be cremated and taken on a last ride on his Harley. A Memorial ride was held September 25th that started at Long Cane Park in LaGrange and ended in Warm Springs. Ryan James led the ride on James's Harley.
James was born and raised in LaGrange. James had many dogs over his years that he dearly loved. He had a tattoo on his shoulder of his favorite bulldog, Son. James loved to fish and hunt.
James was a welder by trade and he in the past had worked for many years with Mid South Mechanical. His job took him to California where he lived several years in Onyx. There he met Carol and they went to Las Vegas and married. The marriage ended without children in divorce. He came back home in 1996 and married Kim Patrick and they became the parents of Ryan James in 1999.
