The funeral service for Mrs. Sue Nelson Bonds, 76, of Anniston, will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in the Chapel of K.L. Brown Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Reverend Bray McCormick officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 1 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bonds passed away November 19, 2021 in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Bonds was born in Anniston but lived in Jacksonville, FL for many years. She moved to Jacksonville, AL in 1973. She was member of Leatherwood Baptist Church and the Bykota Sunday School Class, whom she loved. Mrs. Bonds loved to read and listen to Gospel music. She worked in retail for many years. She had a servant's heart and was a caregiver to many people. Mrs. Bonds will be most remembered as a wonderful mother who loved spending time with each of her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther Nelson and Louise Williams Nelson; nine siblings; a son-in-law, Joseph Haynie.

Mrs. Bonds is survived by her husband, two daughters; a son; a sister; a brother; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
