Donald G. Wright, 84, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Don was born and raised in Roanoke, VA and was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson Senior High School. He was a faithful member of Greenridge Baptist Church and an active member of Roanoke Lions Club. Don retired from Bank of America after 43 years of service and the Virginia National Guard after 31 years of service. . In Georgia, he attended First Baptist Church of Woodstock and was a member of the men's senior Sunday School class. Don was a wonderful man who will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. . Don was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Addie; brother, Bill; and sister, Claudia A committal service with full military honors will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
