- Mrs. Crystal Dawn Clark Alcantar passed from this life Tuesday evening, November 16, 2021, at MD Anderson Houston.
Crystal was born June 11, 1982, to Steve Randall Clark SR and Sandra Ruth Childress. During her time on earth, Crystal's life took her down many different paths which helped her realize the true purpose in life, faith and helping others. After finding God and being born again she became a AA member and a AA sponsor and was very instrumental in helping others to realize their full potential through encouragement and employment at her management job at Red Cap. It was during this time that she reunited with the love of her life, Paul, and together they turned their lives completely around for the better. Crystal led her life by example. She made everyone feel special because of her warm and outgoing personality. She met no strangers.. She was a Daddys girl and told everyone that she loved them and meant it from the heart. She patiently helped others to find God. She loved to worship the Lord where she was a faithful member of the Living Faith Outreach church. She had a beautiful voice and she especially loved to sing county music. Crystal loved her family and her "Bud Bud". She enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her nephews watching movies eating popcorn and pickles . Her love for life and attention commanded those around her to stop and notice what a wonderful person Crystal was. She touched the lives of so many, had so many great lifelong friends and we are forever grateful that we were blessed to know such a beautiful soul. Just know that she never gave up her fight or faith and we will meet her again one day to rejoice with our all our passed friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mandy Lynn Clark; grandparents, Lester and Beulah Derrick; grandmothers, Flora Clark, MiMi Childress; grandfather, PaPa Chill; uncle, L. G. Derrick.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Alcantar; mother and stepfather, Sandy and Jerry Childress; father and stepmother, Steve and Rhonda Clark, Sr.; brother, Steve Clark Jr. and wife, Amanda; nephews, Steve Clark, III, Leslie Clark, Joshua Alcantar; fur baby, Buddy "Bud Bud"; best friends, Kelly Williams, Cathryn Pucciarello, Mandy Locke, Cheryl Talbott and husband, Norm; numerous close cousins and other family members.
