Harold "Gene" Davis born August 26th, 1938 and left his earthly home to join his Heavenly Father November 18th, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was proceeded in death by his father Eulis Davis, mother Artie Davis, brothers Bill & Jim Davis and sister Katie Dill.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 63 years, his two children, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one sister.
God was always at the forefront of Gene's life, as he experienced several moments of healing throughout his 83 years of life. With family following closely behind God, he taught each of us what it really meant to love your family. He was a member of Freedom Church. Christmas was his favorite holiday and anyone could always find him sitting by his pool in the summertime. Gene retired from Combustion Engineering after 30+ years. He was an avid sports fan with the TN Vols, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and the TN Titans being his favorites. He was blessed to see Atlanta Braves win one more World Series in his lifetime.
Services will be on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Battles officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
