Born in New Brunswick, NJ she formerly resided in Rahway where she raised her family. Mary retired from Rahway Hospital and transitioned into caring for hospice patients. Her compassionate and loving nature was still evident watching her play video games with her grandchildren, whom she adored.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Pierson, she is survived by her two loving daughters and their spouses, Susan and George Vanderbilt, Candace and Michael Toth; seven cherished grandchildren, George Vanderbilt, IV, (Myah), Tyler Vanderbilt (Nicole), Victoria Giampaolo (Anthony), Liam Vanderbilt, Ashley Toth, Zachary Toth and Nicholas Toth; two cherished great grandchildren, Adaline Vanderbilt and Raymond Giampaolo.
