Catharine Kobes, age 18, immigrated 7/15/1876 on the SS Main with her husband Caspar Kobes age 21, his parents, Jacob age 43 and Catharine Kobes age 34, and his siblings, Michael age 23 and wife Catharine age 21, Jacob 3, Anna 8, Georg 5, and Magarethe age 1. She died after the 6/5/1880 census (see below) and before 10/20/1884 when her husband remarried to Catherine Dreiling.
