She attended various schools in the area along her journey. She was an avid reader and loved music, swimming, photography, and the outdoors. She loved nature and the universe. Paula Ray befriended everyone and tried to bring happiness and comfort to those she encountered. She loved her family and those she held dear. She will forever be missed.
She is survived by her father, Harry Young Jr.; her mother, Mitzi Salazar- Young; 1 brother, Harry Young III; 2 sisters, Sabrinna & Amiera Young; her daughter, Genesis Brielle; and her grandmother, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services for Ms. Paula Young will be conducted Friday, August 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm from Lee St. Baptist church.
