Richard gave his life to Christ at a young age and signed his name in the book of eternal life under the direction of Reverend Curtis Long. He loved the church and served in several areas.: Richard was an Usher and he sang in the Men's Choir, but he really really enjoyed cooking and serving meals at church functions. He was often seen cooking and serving alongside his brother Thomas at fish fries, the annual Back-to-School picnic and many other events. "Well done thy good and faithml servant".
Richard is preceded in death by his father George Walker and his mother Sedonia Walker, four brothers: Royce Kelilt; Terone· LeRay (RayRay), Wardell, and Michael Walker; and one sister, Fay Walker (Milten).
