Matt McGuire, 42, of Jonesboro, departed this life on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was born September 10, 1979 in Berrien Springs, MI to Bobby Wayne and Florence (Wright) McGuire, Sr. He worked as a hydraulic mechanic for Jonesboro Hydraulics. He was caring and giving, he loved helping people, and most of all, he loved his family dearly.
Matt was preceded in death by his father.
Those left behind to cherish Matt's memories include his mother; two brothers, Justin Everett McGuire and Bobby Wayne McGuire, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Penny McGuire, Chris (Haley) McGuire, Haley McGuire (Cory) Bush, Gabby McGuire and Jaxon McGuire; and many friends.
Chapel services will be 11 am Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Kimberly Dawn officiating. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery in Evening Shade.
Visitation will begin at 10 am until time of service.
Justin McGuire, Bobby McGuire, Chris McGuire, Jaxon McGuire, Troy Wright and Jerry Wright will serve as pallbearers.
