He was born July 12, 1951 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to the late Clyde and Ida Mae Peters Dunn.
Rodney and Joanna G. Williams were married April 14, 1973 in Olive Branch, Illinois.
He worked for the Drury Company for over 40 years and retired from Miller Dry Wall. He was a member of the Carpenter Local Union 1770.
Rodney was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to take his kids and grandkids boating and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Joanna Dunn of Jackson; daughters, Kelly Freeman and Ashley Dunn, both of Jackson; sister, Linda (Robert) Culkin of Olive Branch, Illinois; sister-in-law, Sarah Dunn of St. Louis; grandchildren, BriAnna Freeman, Jacob Freeman, Kaleigh Wilson and Josie McNeely; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Dennis Dunn and twins, Mike and Pat Dunn; sister, Roberta Skaggs.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be given to the American Cancer Society.
