Survived by his mother, Betty Banks Hayes. His Wife, Theila Davis Hayes. Daughter, Tiara (Malcolm, Sr.) Babin. Son, Darrell Hayes, Jr. Sisters, Terri (Norman) Russell and Shellie Hayes. Brother, Irvin (Shandrika) Hayes, Jr. Four grandchildren, KeShaun Bridgewater, Assata Hayes, and Maxwell and Malcolm Babin, Jr. Aunts, Geraldine (Andrew) Dunn, and Laverne (Joseph) McKinley, Sisters-in-law, Shelia Jacque and Lola Lewis.
