Spencer, TN-Mr. Bobby Lee Thompson, age 59, passed from this life Friday November 19, 2021 at his home in the Mooneyham Community surrounded by his family. Bobby was born, in Spencer, on April 29, 1962 to the late Robert and Tobytha Dodson Thompson. Bobby was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed his work at the Fall Creek Falls State Park Golf Course, where he worked for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister/cousin; Melissa Stephens.
Bobby is survived by his caring family, brothers; Robert (Janet) Thompson, Ronald (Cratus) Thompson and Wade (Vickie) Thompson, brother/cousin; Lynn Stephens, sisters; Minnie (J.W.) Deweese and Dollie Thompson, his best friend and uncle; Cecil "Bo" Dodson. Nieces, nephews, and a large extended family also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday November 21, 2021 at 2:00pm at Mooneyham Church of God with Bro. Doug Cunningham and Bro. J.W. Deweese officiating. Burial will follow in Myers Cemetery. Visitation times are Saturday November 20th at 11:00am and will continue Sunday morning till time of service at 2:00pm. (Visitation and service will be held at Mooneyham Church of God.)
