Arturo proudly served in the US Army for over 30 years; including 4 tours in Vietnam. He was a true Patriot who loved his country dearly. Arturo was a cook in the military as well as, a cook at Luby's for many years. Also, he previously worked at Gulf Marine drilling. Arturo enjoyed music, cards, dominos, watching his favorite shows on TV, and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his wife and daughter with all his heart; but his greatest pastime was spending time with his grandsons. He was truly a family man that never hesitated to help anyone that needed him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Isidra P. Martinez.
