Annette Simmons Leverett Davis reunited in eternal Heaven with her daughter Lisa, her parents Marcus and Ruth Simmons and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends on Thursday afternoon, November 18, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born on September 30, 1939, in Denton, GA later making Waycross her home. She was employed 27 years by Sears as assistant service manager and retired in 2011 from Satilla Regional Medical Center ER Department.
Upon retiring she enjoyed her lifelong passion of crafting, crocheting and her time on her deck reading her bible.
She was a faithful member of Kettle Creek Church, Waycross, GA.
She is survived by her son, Tony,
daughter, Jennifer (Jim);
grandchildren,
Amber, Sherrie (Joseph),
great grandchildren, Caleb, Cason, Madyson, and Taylor.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 until 3 pm at the funeral home.
A private burial will be held Monday at Oakland Cemetery.
