Jackie Ray Williams was born into the world on October 22, 1947 to Veda Mae McKenney and Phillip Williams Senior. He was born fourth in a family of seven children. His siblings are Phillip Junior, Robert Gene (deceased), Mary Jeanette, [Jackie goes here] Kenneth Wayne (deceased), Jimmy Gale, and James Edward. When Kenneth passed away in 1971, it was very difficult for Jackie. He worked mostly as a welder and was employed at C.S.I. Compressor Systems. Jackie was first married to Darlene Jones and they had one son together. Jackie then married Linda Mims in 1971 and had three children with her before his death in 1981.

The story of his death is that Jackie wanted to talk to his best friend, Randolph. He drove to Randolph's home but he wasn't there. Jackie decided to park his car and take a nap while he waited. However, there was a bad exhaust leak in the car and Jackie passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning due to the faulty exhaust.
