Katherine was born in Hardburly, Kentucky the daughter of the late Sam Begley and the late America Miller Begley. Other than her parents, Katherine was also preceded in death by her Husband, Cadie Whitaker and Nine Brothers & Sisters. Katherine was a loving Wife & Mother, and was a Member of the Lone Pine Baptist Church.
Katherine Rose Whitaker leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Son, Sam Wesley Whitaker & Darlene of Big Creek, KY; Daughter, Virginia Lee Williams of Huntsville, AL; Grandchildren, Tony Pridemore & Bobbie, Pam Davis, Nancy Williams, Harvey Whitaker, Samuel Robert Whitaker & Scott Smith, Sondra Smith & Joe, and Julie Campbell & Justin Combs; Great-Grandchildren, Harvey Lee Whitaker, Brooklyn Whitaker, and Britta Maggard; Four Great-Great-Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends also survives.
There will be a Visitation for Katherine Rose Whitaker on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Interment will follow on Wednesday at the Family Cemetery located at Big Creek, Kentucky.
