Mrs. Linda K. Parrish, age 76 of Lyons, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2021 at Candler Specialty Select Hospital in Savannah after an extended illness.
She was born on December 21, 1944 in Lyons to the late Colon Charles and Lillian Ernestine Mosley Kight.
She was the owner of the Bulldog Restaurant in Lyons for many years and had attended Pendleton Creek Community Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Parrish; her daughter, Ginger Greenfield; her son, Joey Holton; five brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter, Cece Waldron.
Mrs. Parrish is survived by two sons, Danny W. Holton of Vidalia and Billy Ferrell of Oklahoma; two sisters, Josephine Upright of Brooklet, and Teresa Byrd (Brian) of Lyons; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 2:00 until 2:50 pm at Roberts–Stewart Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 with Pastors Gary and Vicki Roberson to officiate. A graveside service and interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dillon Byrd, Jamey Foskey, Brian Byrd, Kendall Wilcox, Christopher Byrd, and Tanner Foskey.
