Robert A. "Bob" Rhodes, Jr., 88, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. He was born in Chattanooga on October 24, 1933. He attended the University of Chattanooga where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. For 68 years, Bob was active at Northside Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder and Clerk of the Session. He was also a Boy Scout Leader of Troup 41, as well as an Explorer Leader. Bob was a loving husband and father and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Peggy; children, Dr. Robert (Jan) Rhodes III of Athens, GA, Kimball (James) Hales, Brent (Vanessa) Rhodes, Allison Rhodes, and Amy Neighbors, all of Chattanooga, and grandchildren, Drayton (Katie) Hales, Kelsey (Rawson) Ridley, Natalie Rhodes, Ryan (Maria) Rhodes, John Rhodes, Keller Neighbors and Brady Neighbors.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga Memorial Park on Saturday, November 20, 2021 with Dr. Paul Rader officiating.
