After suffering a severe asthma attack and being airlifted from Ridgecrest Hospital to Riverside hospital, at the age of 31, Jennifer Lee Burke was welcomed home into God's loving and warm embrace on June 5th, 2021.

Jennifer's favorite sound was laughter. Her favorite color, hot pink. Her favorite smell, the ocean air.

Jennifer was born, lived and worked in Ridgecrest, California. Beautiful inside and out, Jennifer enjoyed school, friends and tennis. Jennifer especially cherished time spent with family at the beach.

She worked at Ridgecrest Cinemas, Big 5 Sporting Goods, Pizza Hut, AltaOne Federal Credit Union and Jewelry with Attitude.

After graduating from Burroughs, Jennifer moved to San Luis Obispo, California where she worked as a Lifetouch photographer and a lingerie saleswoman while attending Cuesta Community College. After graduating with an Associates of Arts degree, Jennifer returned to Ridgecrest, California where she worked for T-Mobile.

Jennifer is survived by her father, David Burke, mother, Terrye Burke, brother Daniel Burke, Grandmother Mary Anne Burke, Grandfather Jerry Banister, Uncle Steve Banister and wife Elizabeth, Aunt Sharon Haugen and husband Bert, Uncle Glen Banister, Aunt Laura Banister-Burks and love Marty Koch, Uncle Gary Burke and wife Kimberly, Uncle Michael Burke, Great Aunt Patricia Talbot and husband Evert and numerous cousins.

Jennifer was an organ donor. Through OneLegacy she improved the quality of life for four individuals. Jennifer donated both kidneys, her liver, and her heart.

Funeral services will be at Holland and Lyons Mortuary, 216 N. Downs Street, Ridgecrest, California on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at 10:30AM.

During the funeral if you choose, you may share a fond memory, poem, song or thought.
