First born of Wilfrid & Desneige Lafleur. She married Henry Lancelot Laporte at Most Precious Blood Church in Windsor, Ontario on Sept 9, 1961. They had 5 children and moved to the Warren, Ontario area when Henry was transferred there to work at the OPP station there. She smoked all her life and had a double lung transplant and lived another 13 years with them. She was cremated and her ashes were added to her parents grave site.
