She was born October 19th, 1929 in St. Marys, Ohio, to Albert H. and Madge (Palmer) Buss.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Forest Ward Chambers, who also passed away in Florida in 1985.
She is survived by her three children, Kim Grauer, Evansville, IN, Karen (Dale) Curtin, Celebration, FL, Kris Grauer, Louisville, KY, 9 grandchildren, and
6 great-grandchildren.
Suzie was raised in St. Marys, OH, where she graduated from Memorial High School in 1947.
She married Forest "Wardie" Chambers in 1967, where she worked for AAA while raising her three children. In 1969, due to a transfer in Ward's employment, the family moved to St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana (near Terre Haute), where Suzie worked for Jake's Tire Company in Terre Haute until her retirement in 1994. She then moved to Florida to live closer to family, where she lived out her remaining long life.
Suzie was a devoted wife and mother, with her biggest loves being dancing and music. Whenever there was music playing, she was always moving to the beat. She also loved to fish with Ward. Suzie was very knowledgeable of current events and always spoke her mind, but in a funny way. She loved reading the National Equirer, along with romantic novels. She also loved sports, as she was an avid fan of
Michael Jordan, Roger Federer, and the Dallas Cowboys.
