Daniel (Harley Dan) Cletus Heinrich, 65, Algoma, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center. Dan was born July 15, 1956 in Manitowoc to Wilber Cletus and Dorothy June (Brounacker) Heinrich.

He attended schools in Mishicot, graduating from Mishicot High School in 1974.

On December 30, 1989 Dan married the love of his life, Bobbi Zelewske, also of Mishicot. After attending LTC in Cleveland, Dan worked for various local employers, including CTI and Algoma Hardwoods before retiring.

Dan was an avid CB and HAM radio operator, being a member of the ARRL (National) and ARES (Kewaunee County). Dan also worked as an Emergency Coordinator for Kewaunee County for a few years.

He loved playing drums and the bongos for the band, Lower 6 Level for many years. Another of his passions was restoring old Harley Davidson bikes.

Dan is survived by his wife Bobbi of 32 years, one brother John (Chris) Heinrich, North Carolina; one sister Julie (John Woodcock), Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Katie Janda, Manitowoc; Filvia Bohman, Mishicot; Patsy Tadych, Two Rivers; Barb (Paul) Engelbrecht/Grumann, Two Rivers; Linda Rezba, Melnik; Clara (Steve) Rosinsky, Mishicot; Raymond (Lynn) Zelewske, Brillion; Norbert (Annie) Zelewske, Tisch Mills; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Norbert (Clara) Zelewske, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lucille (Wayne) Peronto, Gloria (Hank) Karl, Bernadenne (Arthur) Ollendorf, Jack Misun, Richard Tadych, Butch Engelbrecht, Danny Janda, Tony Bohman and Alan Rezba.

Family and friends may gather at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma,

Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 1:30 PM with Minister Gloria Butler officiating.

The family wants to thank the Algoma EMT's and Aurora Hospital for their care and kindness given to Dan and his family.
