With a very sad heart, the family says farewell to their beloved, Craig William Fox, age 64, of Oxford Connecticut, after his battle with lung cancer. He was born in Waterbury, CT on March 13, 1957. Craig passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 on Father's Day, surrounded by his entire loving family at Griffin Hospital in Derby, Connecticut. Craig grew up in Oxford and he was employed in his own business of carpentry. Craig attended Saint Mary School in Derby, and he later graduated from Seymour High School. He participated and enjoyed many sports, his favorite team being the Miami Dolphins.

He was member of the local 210 of the Carpenter's Union. Later in his career, he ran his own business, Craig Fox Carpentry. He was a dedicated member of the Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish in Oxford, where he served as an usher for many years. He enjoyed country and classic rock music. He belonged to the Oxford Historical Society and was affiliated with the American Legion Post 177 in Oxford.

Craig is survived by his loving family: daughters Devin Fox, Nicki Fox, and Brooke DeSanti-Fox, his devoted mother Roseanne Fox and predeceased by his father William E. Fox, his sisters Roxanne Fox, Sandy Davis, and Joan Fox, her husband, Bruce Goodwin and their children Alexia and Jordan Goodwin. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many loyal friends, including close friend Mel Turner.

Craig was closely involved with the care of his sister Roxanne for her special condition of PKU throughout his life. We admire his courage with his 3 year battle with Stage 4 lung cancer. He will be remembered for his strength and perseverance.

A Memorial Mass in Celebration of Craig's Life will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford. Burial in the family plot at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby will follow. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday morning from 8:30 am until 9:45 am at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street in Seymour.
