Preceded in death by her mother, who died October 31, 2021. Surviving by her father, of Nicktown; siblings, Jeff Smith, Nicktown; Mark (Pamela) Smith, Loretto; Brenda Smith, Cleona; and Kerry (Rose) Smith, Nicktown. Also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Benjamin (Kayleigh) Smith, Patrick (Becky) Smith, Chad Smith, Jacob (Janelle) Mannion, Joshua Smith, Christopher Smith, Timothy Smith, Victoria Smith, and Briana Smith; extra-special cousins, Brittany, and Dana, who were unfaltering in her care; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
She was proudest of her title of Godmother to Jacob and Faith.
Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, and auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary. Lori was given the life gift of a kidney transplant in 1983, of which she celebrated her 38th kidney anniversary on April 13. She enjoyed baking and shared the joy of crafting with her mother and made many beautiful gifts for others.
Lori knew every family member, spouse, child, birthdate and anniversary—she was our living family tree. She made family calendars for years and loved taking all the kids for golf cart rides.
Family and friends will be received from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD, celebrant. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.
