Dean Wakefield Christian

VARDAMAN - Graveside services for Dean Wakefield Christian, 85, of Vardaman, who died of heart failure Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at Grenada Lake Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark. During the service, Masonic graveside rites will be performed.

Mr. Christian was a member of the Bykota Lodge 333, Lake Worth, Fla. the Shriner Grand York Rites Bodies of Mississippi, Calhoun County Shrine Club. He was an honorary member of Vardaman Lodge 527. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by a daughter, Ann Gibson of Calhoun City, a son, Dean W. Christian Jr. of Greenwood; a brother, Fred Christian of Theo-dosia, Mo.; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, One great-great-granchild, three stepgrand-children and eight stepgreat-grand-children.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Parker Memorial Funder Home in Vardaman.
