Willard Green Is Summoned Rites Saturday

Willard Green, 81, passed away this morning at Barrett hospital following a brief illness. He was a pioneer of the Centennial Valley where he ranched in the early days and had a reputation of being a fine hunter. He and Cecile Wetmore were duck hunting guides in the Centennial when Cecile's father, the late Henry Wetmore, had a camp for sportsmen.

Mr. Green was born at Laketown, Idaho (sic), son of the late Mr. and Mrs. SIlas S. Green, pioneers of Idaho. He settled in the Centennial when a young man and spent most of his life in that area. He had never married.

Mr. Green was baptized in the Church of Latter Day Saints. He was a member of a large family being preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by a brother William B. Green of Parker, Idaho and a brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Max G. Marotz, of Ashton, Idaho and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Brundage Chapel with LDS services. Interment will be made in Mountain View cemetery.
