Patricia Mary Ann Walgamotte Lott passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the age of 78. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for the majority of her life.
Loving mother of Robert N. Lott, Jr. (Julanne), Michael O. Lott, and John W. Lott (Hollie).
Grandmother of Robert N. Lott, III (Latrisha), Danielle Lott, Christopher Lott (Cristen), Nicholas Lott, Brynn Lott and Keelan Lott.
Daughter of the late Helen E. Conners Walgamotte and Joseph Leander Walgamotte.
Sister of Loraine Clark (the late Whitfield) and the late Joseph L. Walgamotte, Jr., Edward L. Walgamotte, Owen L. Walgamotte, and Ronald N. Walgamotte. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Patricia retired in October 1992 after 22 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Metairie. She was a life-long Lutheran, attending Mount Olive Church and then Atonement Lutheran Church. She had many hobbies and interests, including remodeling, crafts, and volunteering at Atonement in many ways, including with the children at VBS, cooking, and Bible studies. She attended almost every worship service, meal, activity, and church/school function in support of Atonement and her Lord Jesus. She especially had a passion for family history and genealogical research. She was a member of the Jefferson Genealogical Society and the Deutsches Haus.
"Pat" will be missed by the many who knew her and worked with her, as she shared her love of Jesus with us.
Services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Atonement Lutheran Church, 6500 Riverside Dr., Metairie. Visitation is from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM, with the Memorial Service starting at 10:00 AM.
